Chairman's Message

I retired from the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) as its CEO on 1st October, 2009 after 44 years of dedicated continuous service. Immediately before and after my retirement I was offered several senior posts and advisory positions but decided that perhaps I had enough of being an employee and that I should try to be my own boss for a change.

Over the 44 years of employment with BAPCO not only I developed a wealth of technical and business knowledge and experience but also established a wealth of contacts in various organisations around the world.

Given all the above ingredients for success I established our company "PETRODAR INTERNATIONAL" in January 2010, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, to provide oil and gas, petroleum, petrochemical services and advice to these industries as well as Energy sectors in general.

The industries served by Petrodar International (PDI) are in great need of independent consultants and service providers who don't only bring international knowledge and experience into their organisations but also bring local knowledge and experience. Often organisations overlook this vital fact. I instead consider this approach to be the real niche of PDI over its competitors.

Our philosophy is based on bringing in resources and services from reputable international organisations and supplements them by our own local very experienced and reputable resources to inject reality and relevance to our contributions.

The initial geographic boundary of PDI's operations is the GCC countries, to be expanded gradually to cover the whole of the Middle East region.
